Apache Fame the only leopard appaloosa
direct son of the great “Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King,” the premier
stallion in the miniature horse industry. “Egyptian King” is the 1986
National Grand Champion Stallion and has sired more NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
AND AMHA HIGH POINT horses than any other stallion in the world.
“Egyptian King” is a name that all
miniature breeders know and respect, and his great tradition is passed
on through “Apache Fame.”
“Apache Fame’s” dam, “Dell
Teras Stardust,” is a celebrated mare in her own right. She is a
leading producer of top-selling show foals, including many Grand
Champions. “Stardust” is the dam of “NFC Hustler’s Star,” “NFC
Hustler’s Evening Star,” and the 1992 Reserve National Grand Champion
Junior Mare, “NFC Egyptian King’s Stardust.”
“Apache Fame” is extremely
refined and Arab-like. He measures only 30 ¾ inches.
All of Fame’s foals have been loud- colored and absolutely gorgeous. The
two colts born in 1999 are both black leopard appaloosas. His two
fillies both have color also: one filly is a loud red and white pintaloosa and the other is a liver roan with white spots on the rump.
